Current proprietor Peter Whitehead (73) is retiring at the end of October and hands over to his friend Anthony Orritt and family who will honour all existing bookings and commit to improving the Deeside experience and restoring the adjacent Deeside Coachhouse. All enquiries for 2022 bookings will be forwarded to Anthony who will take over our existing telephone number at the end of October.
What a great place! Kids had a fantastic time therefore us adults did too. Peter was really nice and friendly man. We will hopefully see you soon.
Things To Do
Deeside House's extensive lawned garden with gas barbecue and seating area makes for great al fresco dining. Deeside is set in beautiful countryside with many picturesque walks available from the doorstep.
Enjoy a summer evening stroll along the river and sample a pint or two of real ale at the nearby Sportsman's Inn. As a base for cycling Deeside provides both on and off-road routes and the Yorkshire Dales and Pennine Cycleways both pass through the dale. Horse riding, fishing and golf are all available in the area.
